Fiber supports concurrent programming and is useful for concurrent processing with state. However, the implementation\nof Fiber in Ruby 1.9 has performance problem. We implemented a faster Fiberfor Ruby 1.9 and evaluated it on various environments. As a result, our proposed implementation\nis faster than the current one in most case. In this presentation we evaluate the ability for current Fiber implementation and proposed Fiber implementation.
