Suppose that one uses a smart device on business and mounts confidential business files on the device, it is an issue how to keep confidentiality of the files since a smart device is more likely to be lost than note-book or desk-top type computers. Trivially, one can keep confidentiality of the files if one encrypts the files and keep its decryption key secretly out of the smart device; however, it needs a different decryption key by the different access structure to decrypt encrypted files which have different access structures each other, when a smart device and contained files are shared by multiple users. This yields quite complicated life cycle management for the keys.
