Unfortunately, this does not suit today's Internet usage which is mostly content retrieval. ICN — Information-centric Networking is a good solution to fill this gap and it is also one of the hottest research topics about New Generation Network. We designed the ICN on ZNA, our proposing six-layer architecture for New Generation Network, named ZINK (ZNA Information Centric Networking) and implemented prototype.
