Recently, many researches address to detect the real-world events from social media such as Twitter. However, geo-tagged tweets often contain noises, which means tweets which are not related to the users' location. These noises are problem for detecting real-world's events. To address and solve the problem, we define the “Place-Triggered Geotagged Tweet”, tweets which are related to the users' location, and propose a method to detect it. We design and implement a keyword matching-based detection technique to detect place-triggered geotagged tweet. We evaluate accuracy of the method with 18 participants, and present that our method achieves 82% of accuracy.
