In the region of Kansai Electric Power, reduction of power consumption by 10% compared to that in 2010 was requested. In this paper, we report an attempt to reduce 10% of power consumption of the server by controlling the CPU clock. In mobile devices, such as note PCs and smart phones, reduction of power consumption is achieved by same method.
