The cascaded adaptive notch filter is updated by using a simple gradient based algorithm that employs a cross correlation of the tap input signal on a forward part of the allpass filter and the output signal of notch filter. However, the adaptive algorithm converges on a solution with bias error due to disturbance which includes into a tap input signal when the broadband signal is a colored signal.
