However, we have never investigated what a characteristic of an aesthetic curved surface is. Then, the aim of this study was to clarify the characteristic of an aesthetic curved surface. First, we developed an analysis system that identified a “Control Line of Distribution of Curvature and Torsion (CLDCT)” expressing a distribution of curvature and torsion of the curved surface. Second, we analyzed some sample curved surfaces using the analysis system.
