• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 情報が膨大に蓄積されていくにつれて，人間が能動的に求めるだけでは，情報の有効活用が難しくなっている．これを解決する方法の1つとして，人間の活動に応じて，システムが情報へのアクセスを自律的あるいは少数の指示に基づいて支援することが考えられる．本論文では，膨大な情報へのアクセスを支援することが有用な代表的な場面として，個人やグループの意思決定・問題解決に注目する．そういった活動の中で，「会議ファシリテーション」に着目し，ディスカッション参加者の非言語・パラ言語情報を分析することにより，ファシリテータがどんな行動をするべきなのかを明らかにすることを通して，情報システムが意思決定や問題解決に対して有用な支援を行うための手がかりを得ることを目指す．本研究では，ファシリテータに会議ファシリテーションをしてもらう実験を行い，非言語・パラ言語情報を取得して判別分析を行った．その結果，「参加者間の対立同調」「非言語・パラ言語情報」のデータから算出した6つの独立変数から，4種類のファシリテーション行動のいずれが適切かを80.0%の割合で判別することができた．また，ディスカッションされている意見に偏りがある場合にファシリテータが介入する傾向が強く，異なる意見を促すことで議論を活発化しようとしている，といったような，ファシリテーション行動決定のためにどの情報が深く関わっているかが分かった．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: As vast amounts of information are accumulated, the information cannot be effectively used by voluntary demands of people. One of the methods to utilize the accumulated inforomation is that an information system supports human activities to access the vast amounts of information. In this paper, we focused on decision making and discussion as one of the typical situations in which the information access support is useful and “facilitator” who could control the discussions effectively and smoothly. The objective of this paper was the statistical analysis to find the factors which caused the facilitating behaviors of the good facilitator by using measured nonverbal and paralinguistic data. For the objective, we conducted experiments to obtain the nonverbal and paralinguistic behavior of the participants in face-to-face discussion. Linear discriminant analysis was then applied to the data. As a result, we could achieve 80.0% accuracy in classifying four types of the facilitating behaviors by using six independent variables. The discriminant functions indicated that the facilitator paid attention to fairness of discussion and the participants conveyed their requests to the facilitator by using nonverbal behavior.
