The proposed architecture consists of two components: 1) join and retransmission control (JRC), and 2) redundant node selection (RNS). The JRC dynamically adjusts the number of join and data retransmission requests based on the network condition and reception packet fluctuation of the receiver. The RNS selects retransmission nodes based on the retention probability of lost packets requested by the receivers. We have designed and implemented the algorithm of the proposed architecture. According to our evaluation, our approach results in an additional 1-2,Mbps reception bandwidth from existing overlay streaming applications.\n------------------------------ \nThis is a preprint of an article intended for publication Journal of \nInformation Processing(JIP).
