When we try to apply the above method to extracting a floor plane indoors, a bottleneck is that precise calculation of parallax is delicate. This article shows an improved method for extracting wall planes by using horizontal U-disparity and estimating the boundary between such wall planes and the floor plane extracted by using V-disparity.
