Moreover, interoperability and cost-effectiveness of MOM is becoming increasingly important in cloud computing era. In this paper, we evaluate Open Source Software (OSS) implementation of Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) which is an open standard application layer protocol for messaging.
