The mechanism promotes the process improvement activities, and contributes to the improvement in process maturity of each development department greatly. Given this situation, it is clear that the quality of the mechanism has a great influence on overall improvement activities, and that it is important to find the most effective method of constructing the mechanism. For nearly ten years, we have been constructing the mechanism and promoting process improvement activities using it.
