The temperature range used in TPSAP is easy to be determined when the number of parallel processes is large enough. But, the tuning of the temperature range is necessary when the number of parallel processes is small, such as 8. We propose Temperature-Parallel Simulated Annealing Programming with Adaptive Temperature Range (TPSAP/AT) that has a mechanism searching an effective temperature range. we compared TPSAP/AT with TPSAP in Santa Fe trail and Simple Symbolic Regression problems which are benchmark problems.
