• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では、識別学習を用いた音声認識用音響モデルの構築について述べる。識別学習は、近年の計算機能力の飛躍的な増大及び、推定された音響モデルの識別性能の高さから、音声認識用音響モデル推定における標準的手法となりつつある。本稿は、研究事例とともに、音響モデル推定のための識別学習について解説する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes discriminative training (DT) of acoustic models for speech recognition, which is one of the major application domains of machine learning techniques. DT techniques have become very popular recently due to the drastic progress of the computer technology that made it possible to perform DT in a realistic time as well as the higher speech recognition accuracy compared to conventional maximum likelihood (ML) estimation. This paper explains DT techniques for training acoustic models, introducing major past research efforts.
