Many schemes to share a common key have been proposed. Most of schemes group users with hierarchical structures. Canard et al. proposed a scheme suitable for a hierarchical structure without central authority in 2008. This scheme manages a key with a hierarchical structure representing a graph. This uses HMAC and non-hierarchical Group Key Agreement. This scheme needs that any users can refresh their own secret key efficiently with a Group Key Agreement called R&R GKA.
