DT–MRI などから得られる医用 3 次元テンソル場の可視化への適用結果を示し,既存手法に対する本手法の優位性を示す.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"Visualizing 3D diffusion tensor fields has become important especially in medical imaging for understanding physical properties and microscopic structures in biological tissues. However, tracking the underlying continuous behavior of the 3D tensor fields is still challenging due to the lack of appropriate interpolation schemes that can avoid unexpected swelling effects. This report presents an approach to interpolating such 3D diffusion tensor fields by respecting the underlying anisotropic structure of the given datasets. The main idea behind our approach is to alleviate swelling effects by optimizing the rotational transformation between a pair of tensors through the eigenanalysis of associated matrix representations.
