 note = {東京に隣接する埼玉県は、県外への通勤通学者に対するサービスを含めた住民サービスの向上などの様々な行政課題を抱えており、その解決のために情報技術を積極的に活用していく。約680万人の人口を擁する埼玉県の県域は、情報通信分野の基盤整備にあたり、民間による積極的な投資が期待しうる地域であるが、一部には過疎などのために民間投資が遅れがちな地域も存在している。そこで、埼玉県では、公共サービスの向上のためのアプリケーションの開発やデジタル情報資産の蓄積など、ソフトウェアを重視した情報基盤整備を進め、需要を掘り起こすことにより民間によるネットワーク基盤の整備を促していく。これにより、だれでも、どこにいても、手軽に、有用な情報を入手・発信できる情報基盤の整備をめざしていく。, Saitama prefecture, on the north of Tokyo metropolis, has many issues to be solved such as improvement of public services, including services for more than a million commuters to Tokyo. So, Saitama is going to apply Information Technology to solve the issues. Having a population of about 6.8 million, Saitama can expect active investment by private sector to supply the Information Infrastructure, but there is some district which is often behind in the investment, suffering from depopulation. Then, Saitama Prefecture is going to promote investment by private sector, developing application software to improve public services, and creating stock of information in a form of digital database. And Saitama is going to create its Imformation Infrastructure, on which anybody can easily get or publish usefull information, at any place he is.},
