In this study, we suggest an approach to predict the pattern of N-myristylation signal using the machine learning system BONSAI. BONSAI finds rules in combination of a alphabet indexings and decision trees. The experiment showed that BONSAI classified the amino acid according to effect for N-myristoylation and found the rules in the alphabet indexing.
