 note = {参与観察手法による入院患者の生活の一日観察を通して入院患者は時間を持て余している事，その家族は忙しい中毎日面会に来ている事などの調査結果を得ることができた．そこで入院患者の生活の質（QOL: Quality Of Life）の向上を目的としたサービスとして，ネットワークとマルチメディアを用いた遠隔コミュニケーションサービスを提案する．PCをベースとし，カメラ，マイク，スピーカ，音声チャットソフトなどを用いてシステムを構築し，利用者誰もが使えるような操作簡略化の工夫を凝らした上で，この遠隔コミュニケーションサービスが実社会の入院患者に対してどれだけ有効であるかを実際のフィールドで実験を行い検証した．, In this research, we checked the everyday life of hospitalized patients. We observed that family members want to meet their relatives even if they are very busy with their work. We found that hospitalized patients have a lot of free time to meet their relatives and they can talk and discuss together even if they cannot be indirect contact. In order to ensure a better Quality of Life (QOL) for hospitalized patients, we propose a new telecommunication service system. The proposed system uses the network and multimedia communications to provide the communication between the family members and the hospitalized persons. The service system is based on Personal Computers (PC) and consists of networked cameras, hands free microphones, speakers and the voice chat software. We tried to realize an easy operation system in order to be used by everyone. We verified by experiments that proposed communication system is useful system for the hospitalized patients and family members.},
