In this report, we introduce recent advances in speech processing technologies through focusing both of speech recognition and speech synthesis. Contents are: Japanese dictation software Web-page retrieval software, large-vocabulary speech recognition chips, a speech editing tool for designing multimedia applications, and TTS (Text-To-Speech) software for PCs.},
