 note = {最近音声言語関連の大型プロジェクトが幾つか開始あるいは計画されている。学振の未来開拓事業による「音声対話システム」プロジェクト、ATRによる「日英双方向音声翻訳システム研究」の総合評価と今後の課題の提示、文部省COEプログラムによる「多元音響情報の統合的理解」プロジェクト、科技庁経費による「話し言葉工学」プロジェクト、「韻律に着目した音声言語情報処理の高度化」に関する科研費特定Bの計画、「言語理解とソフトウエアロボットの行動制御」に関する研究計画、「福祉工学研究会」や言語資源共有機構(GSK)の設立等である。これらのプロジェクトの代表者によりパネルディスカッションを行って、今後の研究の方向を探る。, Recently, several research projects on speech and language processing have been started or are planned. They are as follows: "Spoken dialogue system" project funded by JSPS, assessment of ATR project on "Japanese-English bilateral speech translation system" and presentation of the future problems, "Integration of Multidimensional Acoustic Information" project by MESSC Center-of-Excellence project, "Spoken language engineering" project by Science and Technology Agency fund, research proposals on "advanced spoken language information processing aimed at prosody" and "Language understanding and behavior control of software robot", establishment of Special Interest Group on "Welfare technology" and "Language Resources Sharing Organization (GSK)". We search for the direction of future speech research through a panel discussion by the leaders of these projects.},
