It is preferable that development of shosaiyomi that is used by elementary school students is based on word familiarity of children. However, there are few studies on word familiarity of children. In this paper, we have analyzed whether familiarity of elementary school students can be estimate from that of adults. As a result, a comparatively strong correlation was observed.
