In the IF spectrogram, harmonic components have very sharp spectral peaks and the harmonic structure is clearly seen. Next, we incorporate time-warping into the IF spectrogram to avoid overlapping of the harmonics in the spectrogram, that is caused by rapid change of the harmonic frequencies. The time-warping is applied to the signal frame by frame according to the change of the harmonic frequencies.
