| 内容記述 | 音楽学/音楽と情報理論の関りは20世紀前半にまで遡摘することができる。しかしながら、近年の日本における音楽学/音楽と情報処理の学際的研究はアンバランスに進んでいるように思われる。情報処理学会からは、音響、音源分離やパフォーマンスデータに関する地道な研究成果が報告され、作曲家たちは自らのシステム環境に合わせて新しい形態の作品を発表しているのに比べ、音楽学会側からの情報処理的なアプローチは極めて少ない。このような反省に基づき、今回のパネルディスカッションでは、音楽学/音楽の立場から、研究/教育/創造における情報科学利用の現状と問題点の提示を試みる | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Since early 20th century, musicologists and composers have been introduced information theories and computer science. Recent years, however, such interdisciplinary works seem to lack balance and be developing. Computer scientists, for example, report many articles and produce various soft and hardware concerning music, whereas quite a few musicologists pay attention to these findings and products. In this respect, composers are different from musicologists. Composers are more interested than musicologists in computer music and doing collaborative work with computer science. Why are musicologists isolated concerning to computer music science? In this panel discussion, we will examine the problems among computer scicnce, musicology, composing, and education of such interdisiplinary work. | |||||||
