For this, we developed an simultaneous measurement system for the motions of an index finger and a key, and for Electromyographic (EMG) signals of the index finger. The results acquired in a pilot study show the clear difference in the key motion and the EMG pattern between those two cases. In particular, the strong correlation between extensor muscle activities and key-release velocities is suggested.
