In our study, we model a phrase-creation as a process of combination of two processes, rhythm-generation and interval-addition. We call our proposed model Sequential Rhythm-Interval Generation Model. First, in generating a phrase, our system generates rhythms. Then, the system adds intervals to the rhythms. Finally, the rhythms with intervals are output and provided. In existing studies, phrases are generated based on existing phrases linked with some of them or based on rules.
