We evaluate groove feeling of drums play quantitatively by analyzing a professional drummer’s play, and aim at structuring a system of “humanlike” automatic playing. In this paper, we defined the position of the virtual metronome, and analyzed time-lags between attacks and the virtual metronome and attacks’ volume.
