• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 一般に市販されている日本語処理のためのソフトウェアは、現代日本語の処理のために設計されているので、古典テキストの処理に適しているとは言えない。そこで、安価なパーソナル・コンピュータを用いて、日本歴史及びその関連分野の研究支援のソフトウェア開発を行なっている。筆者は、このシステムを用いて、注釈や読みなどの付いた古典テキストの編集・印刷・検索や歴史地理研究のための地形図の表示、過去の地形・図との比較、地形図へのコメントの記入などの機能を有するソフトウェアを開発し、この分野の研究に有効なことを示した。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper deals with the development of software for the research in Japanese history and its related areas by an economical personal computer-based system. Software for Japanese language processing commercially available are not always adequate for processing classic texts, and the development of software is necessary for the research in these areas. The system is capable of editing, printing and retrieving classic texts, and scrolling geographic image displays. Superimposing an old map or arbitrary comments on a map is possible. The author asserts that these facilities are useful for the research in Japanese history and its related areas.
