• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 笑いはヒト特有の感情表出といわれ、円滑なコミュニケーションにとって欠かせない役割を果たすと考えられる。日常生活において最も身近なメディアの一つである新聞記事を取り上げ、そこに含まれる笑いに関する表現について調査、分析した。一年分の新聞記事から笑いに関する表現を抽出し、個々の表現を原因別に快、不快、社交の三種類に分類したところ、5:1:4の出現頻度であることがわかった。また、笑いの表現、掲載面や出版地域の違いによる出現傾向の変化や、修飾語の有無についても分析した。例えば、大阪版の記事は全国版と比べ、快の笑いが多く、社交の笑いが少ないことがわかった。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Laugh is said to be an emotional expression unique to mankind, and an essential factor in facilitating smooth communication. In this report, laugh expressed in newspaper articles are investigated. Expressions describing laugh were extracted from newspaper articles over a period of one year. Each expression was classified into three categories of laugh: laugh of pleasantness, unpleasantness and sociability. As a result, each laugh existed in the ratio of 5:1:4. Also, differences in expressions of laugh, pages written, and regions published were examined. For example, articles in Osaka region turned out to contain more laugh of pleasantness, and less laugh of sociability than in those of nation-wide.
