• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 國學院大學日本文化研究所では、多年にわたり本学で蓄積してきた学術調査資料、特に写真資料についての整理を進めてきた。学術調査資料は多種類・多分野・多量、資料記録／記録資料の両側面という特徴を有しており、写真資料に関しては一般性・汎用性という特徴も付加される。整理にあたっては独自の方法を構築する必要があるが、本稿では、インデックスの整備を重視すること、段階的な整理・公開を行なうことといった基本方針およびその具体的成果を紹介し、さらに、今後の展望として資料群間の連関に関する課題と構想を示した。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Kokugakuin University has collected a large volume of photographic and other academic survey materials over the period of its existence, and work is now proceeding on the editing and collating of those materials. The materials collected through decades of academic surveys and research are highly diverse in variety and discipline, large in quantity, and possess both characteristics of records of documents, and documents composed of records. Photographic documents have the additional complication of being general and universal in character. While there is a need to create unique methods for handling and collating such a wide range of materials, this report will focus on the decisions (1) to emphasize index organization and (2) to use a staggered or phased process of editing and publication, together with an introduction to the current results of the program. Future issues will also be suggested regarding the linkage of diverse data collections
