It might be more effective to use computerized display in a classroom in place of conventional static media, e.g. blackboards, OHP and handouts. A compiler is relatively so large and complex that its whole functions are not easily understood in short term. Visualizing the process of compiling on a display is of great use for instruction of its function. In this paper, we discuss the techniques of visualization for every unit of a compiler.
