Although this fieled deals with (1) writing Chinese characters, (2) comprehending long stories, (3) rewriting sentenses, (4) summarizing and so on, effective individualized instruction was hard to achieve becouse of differences in learners' abilities and motivation. This system uses multi-screens and facilitates the use of the keyboard. The study of the system since its introduction last April in our class has shown its remarkable effect.
