However, information-oriented modernization of school education should be discussed in several distinct terms. First, education/learning of (newly established subject) information should be distinguished from multimedia-based approach to existing subjects such as language, science and math. Second, discussion of how best utilize multimedia for education/learning of a well-established topic should be distinguished from reviewing and renovating course material and curriculum to adapt to information-oriented society.
