• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 遠隔受講および講義記録のライブラリ化のできる教育支援システムを構想した。このシステムは、映像、音声および板書などを忠実に記録し伝送する一方で、それを文字認識・音声認識技術により記号化したものも同時に伝送・記録する。それにより、検索可能なライブラリとしての蓄積、および遠隔地での受講を可能とするものである。従来の教室を大幅に変更することなく設置利用すること、および教員一人で操作することを想定している。本システムにより、一般の学生には以前の講義の内容等を比較的簡単な方法で提供できるようになるとともに遠隔での受講をも可能にし、また障害を持つ学生にとっての学習参加の助けにもなることも期待できる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We planned an education support system which enables us both to distribute real lecture to remote sites and to record and archive it. This system records and transmitts both 1) raw data of video, audio and drawings on the blackboard, and 2) the encoded data generated from them by the speech and drawing recognition technology. This makes it possible both to archive them as retrievable library, and to attend the classes virtually at remote sites. This system can be built into traditional chalk-and-talk style classrooms with a small effort, and operated by teachers themselves without any assistance. It is expected to help ordinary students by making it possible to see past classes in relatively easy way, and also expect to be helpful to students with disabilities in attending classroom studies.
