• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: The recognition of curved objects remains one of the less cultivated areas in the computer vision. In this paper we deal with central projection images of curved objects limiting to pillar-shaped and conical objects. It is shown that features of their shape and the orientation in the space can be easily recognized using the features of the central projection. A method is also described to approximately classify pillar-shaped objects and conical ones.
