• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 離散画像の形状処理アルゴリズムは，画素の位置を引き数として記述されることが多い．一方，数理形態学演算を利用すると，画像処理アルゴリズムの制御構造をいくつかの自然な集合演算に分解できる．また，画像処理アルゴリズムを関数対応として自然に捕らえることがきる．本論文では，Hilditchによる2値画像の細線化処理を数理形態学演算によって記述する．まず，数理形態学によって画素の消去可能性を判定できることを明らかにする．次いでこの性質を利用して，Hilditchの細線化を，数理形態学演算の組合せによる関数の合成によって記述する．処理の手順を数理形態学演算によって記述すると，Hilditchの細線化処理の並列処理法を自然な形で導くことができる．また，細線化のために消去可能な画素の判定を行う論理回路の構成法について検討する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Morphological operations derive parallel algorithms for shape analysis images since those operations are defined as set theoretical transformations to sets of points on the plane. This paper writes Hilditch's thinning algorithm with morphological operations. We derive morphological operations to determine points which disappear through the thinning process. These operations yield a parallel version of Hilditch's thinning. Furthermore, they provide logic circuits for the thinning of binary digital images.
