This technique is applied for constructing a 3-D model of skull by laser lithography, where an ultraviolet laser beam scans liquid resin to be hardened. Since 2-D CT data is sampled along the direction perpendicular to the sliced CT image, it is necessary to interpolate data between 2-D CT images and an interpolation technique is discussed. A technique to reduce the construction time of the laser lithography is discussed.
