Correspondences of sparse points on stereo images are assumed to be known. In this method, correspondent points on the synthesized image are determined by the fundamental matrix between stereo images and synthesized image. Then, one of the stereo image is triangulated and each triangles are mapped onto synthesized image. Sometimes, two different points in the scene are projected on the same point in virtual image. In order to select the closer point to virtual camera, we consider the projection of space points onto a plane in the scene by one of the stereo camera. Using homography, we can determine the positions of those projections in the image of the other camera. Considering the order of these points and epipoles, we determine which point is closer to virtual camera.
