However, if the scene itself is a polyhedron, some of the displayed edges may be inconsistent with physical edges. This paper presents a new technique for automatically making a given triangular mesh compatible with the physical shape, using a template that can detect shape inconsistencies. We also present a technique for removing spurious occluding edges. All the procedures do not include any thresholds to be adjusted.
