Shape-from-silhouette is one of the most widely used methods of 3D shape reconstruction since it reconstructs rough 3D shape stably with a little calculation. However, it is difficult to obtain accurate silhouette using each single-viewpoint information because of cast shadow, similarity of the color between object and background, and so on. To solve this problem, we detect shadow region using multi-viewpoint information and geometry of studio.
