However, occlusions or an insufficient motion model degrade the accuracy of the registration. The inaccurate registration yields visible artifacts in super-resolution images. We propose the robust super-resolution against the registration error. The proposed method verifies each pixel based on a similarity and a registration error. Then, the super-resolution image is reconstructed from only validated pixels. We also propose an illumination correction method to improve the super-resolution image.
