The systen consists of three parts, such as I^2S:Intellingent Interview Systen for logical design, a knowledge base for database construction and an interface to database nanagenent systens. It interviews a user to design logical structure of the target database and constructs its prototype. Then, the systen gets the user to use the prototype trying to detect problens of it. If sone problens are found, the systen redesigns and reconstructs the database. In this paper, several functions necessary for supporting users and their inplenentation are presented.
