But their implementation of the algorithm involves back-tracking and it decreases the efficiency in the case of large-scale grammar. In this paper, we propose a bottom-up chart generation algorithm, which has the same mechanism as Shieber's. It realizes an efficient semantic-head-driven generation mechanism without back-tracking, which can be implemented in parallel therefore.
