One of the way deciding the equivalent is using Valency Grammar. However the effectiveness is not inspected. This study evaluate the effectiveness of Valency Grammer with IPAL-dictionary's verbs and nouns. As the result, the accuracy of correct equivalent is 89% for verbs translation and 91% for nouns translation. Becouse of analysing failure examples, upper limit will be expected about 10% for verbs and about 5% for nouns.
