To solve this problem, two protocols are proposed for delivering messages to mobile agents in peer-to-peer networks. The first one utilizes redirection of messages by a proxy; the second one utilizes a lookup service for agent locations. It is verified that the two protocols ensure message delivery and agent mobility under appropriate conditions of networks. The effectiveness of the protocols are demonstrated by implementing and evaluating two application systems based on the protocols.},
