analyse the characteristics of wireless packet broadcast using multi-hop relay to reqch nodes which are not within direct radio range of the broadcast source. In particular, we report that in an experimental system using over 50 personal computing devices equipped with standard wireless modules and multi-hop relay software, flooding of packets containing 140 bytes of data over 5 hops was possible within 20 milliseconds.
