How can we design a system for remote instruction or remote operation? As a first attempt to answer this question we used only audio-video connections and built up some systems which had different allocations of cameras and monitors. We conducted experiments on each allocation pattern and have explored problems of each setting. Out of these efforts, we conceived of a novle conceptnamed 'Body Metaphor'.
