Considering the target of distance learning is the students in high school or more elementary education course, we are aware that there are many and various type of subjects for them to learn, and not a few subjects of them are supported with visual simulation like physics or chemical experimet. Based on these points, we developed a distance learning platform which has following features; (1) A communication platform for multi-users in which a user can grasp other user's behavior, (2) Using the learning materials linked two dimensional information with simulation in three dimensional cyberspace, (3) Contents constructed with various type of multimedia information, easily developed with minimum programming knowledge. We also exhibited and demonstrated virtual classroom using this system at SIGGRAPH98.
