In this system, the primary standard is a numerical model which expresses the stamping die free-form surface in the computer in place of a physical model. The realization of this CAF system has achieved an integration of CAD/CAM systems for automobile body development and all design and production preparation has been thus based on CAD/CAM system. This system has been in operation since 1982, and its application has led to an increase in stamping die quality, to a reduction up to 50% in man-hours in stamping die finishing and also to a drastic improvement in lead time for the body development.}, title = {電算機利用によるプレス型仕上援助システム 「測定・解析・加工システムの開発・実用化」}, year = {1986} }
