• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: ステレオ立体計測で得られた物体表面上の画像、すなわち曲面上のテクスチャを2次元平面に展開し、平面テクスチャを生成する方式を提案する。ステレオ立体計測の目的の一つは被計測物体のCG画像の作成であるが、計測時テクスチャは曲面上の画像としては得られるため、そのままではテクスチャマッピングに利用できない。提案法によりテクスチャマッピングを利用したテクスチャ表現が可能になり、少数のポリゴンでも計測されたデータを有効に利用したリアルな表示が可能となる。また本方式では展開図を用いるため、テクスチャの記録密度がほぼ一定であるという特徴もある。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Proposed here is a method to develop a texture image on a curved surface, measured by stereopsis, into a plane. Cure of the purpose of the stereo measurement is to utilize the data in the field of Computer Graphics. However, the measured texture on the object surface must be transformed into a plane, because the texture mapping technique presupposes that the texture image to be mapped is a plane. The proposed method enables to use the texture mapping technique to produce the object image, which means the object image can be produced with a small number of polygons.
